    Hello Peter,

Wish to learn some great internet marketing tips and strategies from you.

Just a question: I am sure you are aware of SEO, SMM and Internet Summits such as PubCon and all? Do you think real estate webmasters should attend such events? Is there any specific event for real estate webmasters only?

    Lightbulb Do it yourself

    Hi Sam,

Attending these things is an expensive proposition. The type of knowledge you gain at these conferences is widely available online.

The best way to go is to find out what you don't know, and a perfect place to do that would be the websites of these conferences. You can review the topics they will be covering, and do some initial basic research on each one. You can then tell if anything you looked into could be particularly useful to you, and look up additional material on the topic online.

In my experience these conferences are more of a networking opportunity than anything else. However, I would check out the various product exhibitions to get some ideas on the various new applications of social media. An example of something we recently implemented at our firm after getting inspired at the ESRI conference is GIS analytics for our members to offer their clients.
