You may not realise it but cannabis is the Greek word for Hemp.
It is a plant which has within it a course annual and which can be most commonly located in moist, nitrogen rich soils.
In the gardening books of the late 1900's cannabis was often mentioned as a plant which should be used for summer borders!
There was a tribe of people known as the Scythians who lived nearly 300 years ago who discovered that they could obtain mind bending vapours by placing cannabis on hot rocks.
Cannabis was widely mentioned in Indian medical writings for it's amazing therapeutic uses and cannabis is still widely used in Chinese medicine for it's calming and healing effects.
