Hi all,

I am part of a web and platform development company. Last year we set up our official usability lab and purchased our first eye tracking system.

We have 17 large, independent brokerages from all around the US (and growing) on our platform. We are convinced that growing your brand effectively online is achieved by focusing on your end users (customer centric model) and therefore decided to invest a lot of our time and resources on usability studies.

We are focusing on a difference topic every quarter and produce a report based on our findings.

This year's topics are as follows:

Q1: Homepage Layouts and Functionality
Q2: Sitemap Structure and Navigation
Q3: Map Search
Q4: Search and Refine Tools

We use many methods in our studies, including:

Surveys
Eye Gaze Monitoring
Card Sorting
...and much more.

We would be happy to share some of our findings and hopefully open up discussions on best practices based on these results.

We will be at Inman Real Estate Connect (San Fran July 2010) demonstrating the capability of our Tobii Eye Gaze system.

My best,

Ido Zucker
