HI Any, I am new to this site as well. Are you a real estate agent in Michigan? How would you say the Market is there right now?

I am a real estate agent in West Michigan. I'm located in a town called Holland, which is on lake Michigan. Our economy has been hit very hard and the real estate market is down. Sales and property values have fallen dramatically and steadily since 2006. The market is flooded with foreclosures and short sales.

Do you think the market will start to improve in the next few months or get even worse? How long have you been in the real estate business and have you seen it down like this before? Here in Vancouver the market was down but leading into the Olympics helped to recover the previous highs. Currently things have really slowed down, the market is flooded with inventory and we are seeing more and more reductions. Do you think that your market could benefit at this time from out of town buyers and investors?
