    Default Welcome to the Forum

    Hi Janliu,

    Welcome,

How are things in the mortgage world in VA?

Is it getting easier for people to get mortgages again? I know for a while it got pretty tight here.

Smile Thanks for asking about VA real estate market

I work and live in Norfolk. Hampton Roards (7 cities: Norfolk, VA Beach, Chesapeake...) have not been effected much due to Military and Government spending. Yes, prices of real estate declined and financing has become more stringent, but really the loan programs are now where they should have been, no stated income loans. The bank I work for is lending strong, glad to tell you everything I know about any real estate financing subject
