link building- love it... We are experiencing much better than expected results in our Real Estate and Mortgage Social Media consulting business. The tools are so inexpensive compared to traditional real estate marketing methods.

Obviously, you've hit a "hotspot" as many people already responded to your thread.

Marketing is a really neat thing. I look at it as a leveraged sales device.

I can see how Internet Marketing CAN be really powerful. However, I'm confused. The more "advice" I get about this, the less I seem to understand. So far, I feel like someone who is spending a lot of time doing the wrong practices.

Is there anyone else with this feeling? I sure feel like the only "lost" one here.

Well the key to marketing on social media is to build relationships with people. Don't just come at people with your business or what you are selling. Befriend like minded people and build relationships and position yourself as the expert in your field then as people need something you will be their to help them out.

Obviously there is more too it but that's the basics...
