Default I'm Taking Real Estate Classes Online

Hi! I'm Kristy, 27 & from Chicago. I'm marrried to my high school sweetheart and we have a 2 year old lil girl. I am starting my real estate classes online tomorrow. I am a stay at home mom and my husband makes enough to support us so I will be fine waiting until the market picks up. I am going to work for my uncle who owns his own realty company. I have never taken online courses so I was wondering what I should be prepared for??? I have the drive and determination and know that the most important thing is to stay motivated and not fall behind. Are there a lot of notes to take? Do people even take notes? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good information can be found in here. It sounds like you are in a perfect position to enter the real estate field. Good luck. I didn't take my real estate class online, but I have taken online classes. I didn't find them more difficult; you should be fine.

    Hi Kristy,
Online studying is the best way to go because you don't need to readjust your schedule or your kid's schedule. Just remember to concentrate on what you are supposed to be learning, and don't be watching Oprah with one eye.
When you get to the parts of the courses that contain quizzes and mini-exams, have a keen eye for what types of questions they are asking, because that will reveal what is important to learn.
There can be an overwhelming amount of stuff to digest, and some of it is more important than other things, so pick up clues as to what is relevant, and what is less relevant.

Welcome to the forum, I'm a newbie too. I have plans taking up courses but I prefer it on actual class. I believe it is more effective to learn in actual situation of study like talking to the professors or in real estate business talking to the professionals. Anyways, goodluck to your studies! Focus and learn, then share.
