Cool Who I'm Not And What I Don't Do...

    Hey there folks.
I'm a Realtor in Austin, TX and I spent a long time seriously struggling in this
business. I tried everything that everyone told me to do, bought what they
told me to bought and pretty much everything else under the sun.

    But it didn't work.

So, I took to educating myself and discovered a couple of fundamental
mistakes I was making in my marketing that made all the difference.
I even put together a little mini-course on that topic called "Lead Flow"
to try and help folks who are in the shoes I once bore.

What I realized through this process is who I wasn't and what I didn't do.
And this is something that I think more people should consider as they
work to be successful in this profession.

You are not a real estate agent. You do not sell houses.

You are a marketer. You create solutions.

Internalize those two statements above and you will be successful. Period.

Looking forward to learning from this community.

I am a marketer too and a newbie here just like you. I am into internet marketing right now and looking forward to learn new techniques to market real estate effectively. I do love to read blogs and articles but I am inquisitive about the trends on marketing and I've learned the Social Media Marketing is the newest nowadays, so I'm starting doing it and still learning about it.

Hey Lease, I own a search engine management company so feel free to shoot me a pm with any questions you might have, and yes web 2.0 and social sites are huge at the moment, google just can get enough of them.

I love the way you put that for sure. It will defiantly help a lot of people sell more houses for sure. Keep it up and I look forward to more of your wisdom...
