Default Will from California: Real Estate Career

I will be taking my first college class as to what Real Estate is all about. I'm hoping this will be a successful future career. Does anyone in this business have any thoughts, recommendations, or advice as to what I should being doing? Thanks!

Default Jen from Ohio - my first message

Hello everyone, looking forward to chatting and learning how to promote my staging business. Are there any other stagers out there that would like to say hi?

Umm, okay, now they have college courses informing people what RE is all about? Yikes!!

As for some advice, sure I have some... GO OUT THERE AND DO IT! Not to be too abrasive, but theory is one thing, and experience is another. Partner with someone if you want, but formal education is one thing, learning from the school of hard knocks is another. What you would like to do is marry them both. Avoid the major catastrophies through learning from others, but you need to truly get burned a little before you are worth anything... Just like iron, it is soft until it is tested in the fire and quenched. If heated too fast, it could deform, if quenched too quick, it will shatter. (I think I am going to use that in my training... that portrays the process pretty closely.)

Well, ask questions, get trained, but until you actually take ACTION, it is all for nothing.

    There is my INITIAL advice.

Jennifer, why are you piggy-backing several posts, to say the same thing?? That is just being rude.

    Later all!
