    Default Hi there from DFW

Hello everyone my name is Ken, and I am not an agent but and agent cosultant. I work with a company called Pro Bid Direct and we like to meet new people in the DFW area who may need help with things or have questions about home repairs or renovations. Good to be a part of this forum!

    Hi there Ken,

Excuse my ignorance, but what does DFW stand for? Is it Dallas-Fort Worth? Is so, you may have a hard time targeting a specific area like that through a forum as broad as this one.

I haven't looked around much yet, so maybe I'm missing something.

Hey Jack I'm not sure I understand your reasoning as to why it may be difficult, if you might explain I would appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Well, like I said, I don't know the forum very well yet, but its a global forum right? Isn't that going to make it hard to connect with people in your specific area? It will happen from time to time I'm sure, but I think it would be rare.

For example, there is one area dedicated to real estate in Texas. That would probablt be the most targeted polace for you to look for people in your city, but there's only been one post in the past 3-4 months.

My logic may be flawed or I may be missing a key component of the forum, but that's all I was thinking. Sorry, if I came across as being negative in any way. I hope you're able to connect with lots of potential customers!

any forum can be a great place to network with other professionals or targeted consumers nationally and locally. Most of these threads are picked up in SEs and can be found by just about anyone.

btw, I am a broker in the DFW area, DFW Urban Realty.

This is relatively true, though I understand what jackjeffries was saying. If you want to specifically target an exact area then it would more than likely to be more beneficial to target a specific forum rather than a general one.

Either way, Welcome ProBidDirect to the Real Estate Forum. I hope this fourm works to benefit you and everyone else participating on it.
