    Default Real Estate infant

    hello there everyone.
I am new to the real estate world, but am have been interested in real estate for some time now. I currently work at hotel in their IT department. It is a great job, just i am ready for change. I know this is a very bad time to get into residential real estate, but what about commercial? If not commercial, is foreclosure fairly easy to get started in. I would like to hear back from interested to give advice. Thank you.

    Default There's no "bad time"

Like any other business real estate is a 20/80 business. Meaning 20 percent of the agents makes 80% of the business. This applies to all business, not just real state. So there is no good times or bad times.

There agents right now making a tons of money selling foreclosures and REO, while others have quit or sit around the office waiting day after day for a new buyer or seller.

There loan officers making money doing loan mods, while others are doing nothing.

You'll just have to change with the times. Just the Darwin theory: the strongest survives.

I am too new to real estate. I have been wanting to get into it but something was holding me back. I now that it was because of the high prices a couple of years back. I also did not have the money. lol I now need a hard money lender to get my flipping business off the ground. I just need one loan. with the profit from the first flip I will have enough seed money to keep going.

    Hi there all,

I accidently entered to this site and I am so happy that I am now one of the members of this Forum and I am sure that this Forum would be one of my regularly visited Forum as it is so useful for me.

I am not quite new at Real Estate but I have 1 year experience working in this field. It was a really bad time for Real Estate market in Vietnam in the past one year. However, i hope that it would be better from end of this year, maybe.

Wish you all luck, success and happy with this Forum.

    Cheers,
    Thoa
