Default hi, question about cold feet

    hi,

i am a first time homebuyer. i recently found a condo that i fell in love with. i was very nervous and afraid but yet excited at the same time. my offer was countered and i accepted the counter offer but before i signed off on the changes i became very nervous and doubted my decision. long stoy short i did not go through with the contract. i was very scared about such a big purchase and making a move and change. my question is, has anyone else experienced "home buyers remorse". i have had time to think and now regret not going through with it. would it be unheard of to make another offer on the condo? i'm not sure what the seller would think. anyone out there have a similair experience? thanks for any advice.

Don't worry about it. It happens all the time. Throw your hat in the ring again and see what happens. The seller may be very happy to hear from you again if you have a nice earnest money deposit.

    Default Hi condo buyer

I dislike condo because the old saying is "land they do make more of it", with a condo you don't own the land, which sucks. Also do you see that nice area with a bunch of trees near your condo. Well, in a few years they will build a condo complex that is 3 times at big as yours, the units will be bigger, the swim pool will be bigger, the gym will be bigger, and the price will be smaller. Then you're SOL, sorry. I speak from experience as a former condo owner.
