Hello from Scottsdale, AZ!
Hello,
My name is Matt and I am new to the real estate world. I purchased my first home a couple of months ago and hated my realtor. A couple of weeks later I went to school and got my license!
I know the market sucks but I am hoping that I can do a good job and get some referrals.
I hope your all doing well and nice to meet you!
Matt

Welcome. Hopefully some useful advice.
Here is some advice that someone gave me when I was new to real estate and I found it helpful, I hope you do too.
"You will never know all the answers, especially when you are new. Don't be afraid to tell someone that you don't know that answer off the top of your head, but you will find out and get back to them."
Then when you actually follow through and get back to them with solid info they will respect you for 1.) Coming through with what you said you would do. 2.) They will respect the fact that you did not try to bs them.
Don't pull bs out of the air and try to make it up. You will often make yourself look foolish and people will lose respect for you. Be honest and upfront with what you know and you will do fine. Read as much as possible here and on other sites to try to learn as much as possible.
Good Luck!Best Regards,

Matt welcome to the forum. It sounds like you may have too much on the ball just to be a real estate agent. Having been in the business 40+ years and having had 2 RE licenses, a mortgage broker license as well as having an AA degree in RE along with having been an appraiser for 20 years I think I can safely say if you're sharp you should consider investing rather than just being an agent. I was an investor all those years and believe me that was the most fun as well as being the most profitable.
Good luck,
