is there a national IDX system?

realtor.com is as close as it gets! Many people have tried and failed to create a national IDX system. The problem with this is getting all the different MLS's on board. Many dont want to sell their data to national companies or dont even offer it to the public.

I actually came across a privately owned MLS one time that said their listings were not displayed on Realtor.com because they were not members of nar and they also said that they would not give Realtor.com their feed...small town power trip!

No need for a national IDX, nobody shops for a home in NYC, chicago, atlanta, and LA at the same time.
