Houston - MLS - How to!?
I have emailed Houston HAR on several occasions trying to get developer information from them with a view to building some templates for MLS searches for potential client websites.... but they never seem to want to give up the information.
Anybody have any insight on what is involved in implementing a MLS Search for HAR on your own sites? I presume you have to be a Realtor to have this, but how do the softare developers get the information on implementing this? Seems to be a catch 22. I would join HAR if it gave me access to the information I need - but I need to qualify as a Realtor to get full access to all services. Not something I am ever going to do (although my wife is taking the courses).

The information on the MLS is owned by the members who are Real Estate Brokers. If you are not a Realtor - they will not give you access. That is pretty much the size of it. Wayne
