It's a number game. You need 1,000 NO to get a YES.
It's like everything else, keep trying, you'll make it...it's a question of time...

That's exactly right, it takes a lot of time and persistence to get a real deal. Most people give up too early, and too early can some time be 1 year. But there is a learning curve and the "numbers game" that work against most new investors. But for those that are persistent and hard working there are a lot of deals out there that will generate a tremendous profit.

Also keep in mind that right about the time you are ready to give up is about the time things will finally kick in. Assuming you are still doing the things you should be doing.

don't buy leads - make them
Before I became an agent I was generating leads from my website using SEO and Google adwords... I got my license so I could take advantage (no one would buy them). In three months I've generated 300 leads and I'm closing deals.
Here's what I know - leads are not deals - most don't bring business. You have to take the time to find the leads that turn into deals.
If you can't generate your own leads then learn how by hiring a consulting firm. This is money better spent...

Please be aware you get what you pay for! Many companies will sell you leads, you can get leads from a phone book.
Consultants will work with you to understand your niche, they'll have established offerings for real-estate professionals, and they'll know your industry.
Experience the professional difference and work with the pros.
Lest make your tax accountant work!
