Default using adwords to generate leads

With the expansion of the internet, there are many new marketing strategies. One of these that I have found particularly useful is search engine marketing. This basically entails paying to have your ads appear in the "sponsored links" column that appears when you do a google or yahoo search. These ads are triggered by particular search phrases like "san francisco realtor." They can also be geotargeted to within a specific radius of your business. The best part about these ads is that you only pay when someone clicks on them and visits your website. This is great for down times like these. If there are only 10 people using the internet to search for homes in your area, you'll only pay when they visit your site. Sure beats paying for a yellow pages ad. There are a lot of services that can set up these campaigns for you.
