Lightbulb LSI - Google Search Engine Algorithm Cracked..?

One aspect of SEO that's often overlooked is how you structure your website... It can be just as important if not more so than just getting a bunch of inbound links.

The concepts you want to follow when structuring your site are called
"Silo Structures" and "Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI)".

One of my business partners put together a video with a basic intro to it. Check out the description box of the video for more information and resources:

Hope this sheds some light on SEO for y'all

I wouldn't necessarily say that Silo Structures or LSI are anywhere close to cracking the big G algorithms, but they definitely do play a very large and often overlooked part of SEO.

siloing is a great way to structure a site, but it's in no means an end all be all technique for marketing. the best way to go about siloing is when you're building out the site structure you make sure that areas under the top level navigation link only to each other.
    for example:
lets say you have a top level navigation with 3 links
one of those TLN is the About section and it has 3 links. another TLN is Homes For Sale and it has 3 links.
you want to make sure that you don't cross link the secondary, or the children links of the top level navigation unless its totally necessary.

if you have to do anything though, focus on content building and backlinking

That video was very informative and very true, but the importance of backlinks should not be understated too much. While a well organized and optimized site is a great start and 50% of the battle towards high rankings, you do need to have a decent amount of links constantly coming in as well in order to reach your site's full potential for Google rankings. On-site and off-site optimization are equally important.
