    Default Java Script & SE's

    Hello all,

I have recently read about how using External and Internal JavaScript can have an effect on website rankings.

Does anyone know if using script such as Google analytics may be an issue with the search engines?

    Thanks

Google Analytics should not give you a problem in the search engines. After all, it was developed by a search engine, so that wouldn't be good if it messed up your rankings in the SERPs . With regards to Javascript and search engines, it all really comes down to the readability of the javascripts being used. Most bots primarily only read text, so if they come across some code or scripting that they cannot follow, then chances are they will just abandon your page. Using things like sitemaps will really help search engine spiders navigate through your site with minimal problems. Also, by using sitemaps, you can even direct the bots to specific places on your site, which is always nice.

dynamically generated html using JavaScript could be hidden content that the SE does not see.

if scripts are used in a proper manner it will never harm otherwise it will.
use the proper syntax for calling or including any script.

I do not think Google analytic will harm your SEO work. But calling external scripts may slow down your page load which is not very good for seo.....

    Thanks
