I was given a link on academic research done on the Google algorithm. The study was written up in German so I had it translated by Google translator so that I could share it with the forum. This study should quel a number of arguments on SEO for Google. Hope you enjoy reading the link is below.

Great info.. what is the name of this institution (SISTRIX GmbH, Bonn - 30.06.2008 ) ?
I read an english one once.. I am not able to locate the link anymore.... Thanks again for sharing

That was great, I haven't seen such a detailed anaylsis of Google's algorithm before. I thought the bit about alternative text on images was interesting.
