    Default Unix or Windows?

    Hi Everyone,

Is there anyone here who can tell me if Unix based websites are more search engine friendly or Windows based one.
I am in the process of starting a new one and am wondering which system to go with.

    Thanks, TJ

it depends upon what functionality you want. there are many web hosts that offer you a good hosting with 100% of uptime but beware of that.
If your site is big and want to use .net, php, cgi, or other functionality then you should use windows otherwise for simple sites you can go for unix.
unix is more secure than windows.

I currently use both for various sites. I've had zero problems with the unix. I've had issues with windows. All things being equal, if there was a choice, I'd personally go with unix.

No difference for SEO.. Just try to get a fast loading site and server. We use both of them.. and I can not tell you the difference for SEO...

    Thanks
