Google strikes realestatewebmasters

Real Estate Webmasters (not the clients) website got hit by google with a -/+ 30 penalty (Google rank dropping 30+ places for every keyword) + PR drop penalty (5 to 3).

I just read the article about REW.

Thanks for letting us know.

Normally I don't cross link my blog with the Forum, but this series of events got me thinking. Not is a good or bad way, just got me thinking. As a result, I created a blog post to communicate my thoughts and left open the comments section for comments.

Take a look and I would be interested to hear peoples thoughts. Both experienced online marketing gurus in addition to people just starting out.

I understand that competition and client demand forces people into hard decisions. I remember your old sites and see your new approach with your new projects. I just wanted to say I would like to congratulate you on making the ethical decision.

Hey Andy, this is more like a Hiroshima bomb in terms of real estate seo world. Ironically, you are also all over the place brother. I love a guy who can social network in all platforms. I honestly felt like this is a big enough news which has its shockwaves hitting everyone.

Im sure they will bounce back...time heals all wounds but they have enough word of mouth to keep plugging along without issue

Just read the article on google about REW - i guess they just penalized the sites who didn't do proper linking - i mean google guys always said that you shouldn't use "black hat tricks" to gain better rankings if you want to keep your domain for more years
