The same way like in a real life -- except you'll spend more time on sending and receiving a packages.

It depends. There are a few advantages of using the Web. Advertising is cheaper and if you have a MLS Google Maps integration you can let the client browse around and find the houses they like before calling you.

Online selling is benificial becuase it's where 80% of people start their home search (According the National Associate of Realtors). However, as stated above, it does require time to climb the search rankings which you may or may not want to invest the time in.

However, your website is also a great tool for educating your potential leads. They can go to your website, look around, read your research and bookmark dozens or even hundreds of properties. Having a website is definitely something you should consider adding to your marketing mix.

However, in terms of "ease". well nothing easy. It will require that you publish information on a regular basis, search engine optimize and take the time to contact website leads on a month to month basis and respond to email inquiries.

So, in short, my answer is that it's not easy but worth it.

The web does have advantages. The only problem that i have found is getting people to take the next step. There are a lot of deceiving things on the web so people question things. Make sure everything looks legit and professional.

Is is much easier when you are working with someone that started their real estate search online due to the fact that your buyer or seller is tech-savy.

I have been selling properties via our website since about 1999, and it is typically easier on your gas budget but heavy on phone and email.

Default Selling Completely Over the Web

Great answers! Thanks for the info.
Just curious. Have you ever had a sale sight unseen that was transacted completely via the web?
