The Google gods Must Be Angry...
I noticed that Google dropped a TON of pages from one of our sites. Even though this site still has top 4 SERP's for all of its primary KW's, the loss of pages also means a loss of secondary KW's.
Upon further inspection, when I did a check on G using site:www.mydomain.com I found a listing for ANOTHER domain name with my title tag. When I checked the cache, it showed our page!
Now it looks like G is penalizing MY SITE instead of this other site. This is not good at all.
I sent an email to Google, but who knows where it will end up.
Will someone please find me a chicken or goat to sacrifice so that I may appease the almighty G and that they correct this issue?

This whole thing is frustrating. I have contacted G, the site designer, the site owner, the web host, and the domain registrar of the offending web site.
I am not a happy camper today.

It seems from reading the article that nothing can be done. I cant believe that Google is not acting on this. I agree with the person that wrote the article, in a year google will be out of business if they dont do something about this.

I was actually depressed after reading that article. This is what scares me away from investing too much time & $ with Internet marketing. An unscrupulous competitor can take it all away and there's so little recourse.

Instead of building top SERP sites that drive web traffic and leads, I guess that I am going to have to start designing cruddy little sites that no one can find. That way no one will mess with them.
Yeah, that's the ticket.

I removed the link to this article as it does not benefit any of us by having it displayed. This could only cause problems for the rest of us. I hope you all agree with this decision.
