Thread: How did you end up on first page of GOOGLE?

We did what we think was natural - created content for users - optimized our website to improve the visibility and feedback of users to our website - tweak a bit of your pages, and did an SEO that will result for a long term foundation of our websites which takes a long period of time.

It's easy to end up at the top of a Google search if you go for a lot of long tail searches that are not very competitive. However, it's a lot harder to rank for popular search terms since everybody on the top page is working on their SEO so you need to be better than them.

Yes - these days it is more like how you optimized your content in bringing information and the right results for online users.

Not always - I mean not everything white hat gives you the ranking. A mix of both white and black would give you an edge - though you really have to keep an eye and maintain more white hat than black.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding your point of view, because this seems different to what you said earlier in the thread?

I got the impression from this first comment that you were advocating strictly white hat only?

It's actually hard to get on the 1st page of Google but it doesn't mean you cannot do it. Just don't do the shortcut way of getting in to the top. Make sure to always go for quality ones and trash those poor ones.

If a keyword is low competition then there is every chance of it being on the first page with or without SEO.
