Some great advice already in here. You really need to learn everything you can about SEO and everything that is involved with it. Social media is essential, good content, link building internal and external, and most importantly good keywords and good blogs. I suggest you look into Google's keyword tool, it allows you to see how many people are searching for a particular keyword each month. You need to find something that has a good amount of hits every month but not a lot of competition. Don't use the competition checker on the keyword tool though, that is for PPC advertisements, though if you are looking to do that it will give you an approximate price for it. Take the keywords you are looking into and type them into Google. Anything that gets under 20 million results is pretty good but the fewer the better. Anything with more than that gets difficult and timely to be on the front page of.

Daily am giving 30 backlinks on an average. But there is no referral traffic. I am posting in directories, blogs, classifieds, social media, social bookmarking. Few forums but, no result. Could you please suggest me the ways to generate good traffic to my website.
Awaiting suggestions from from you all.
Consider this. Having 30 back links won't do you much. Are you back linking in the same niche? Is the PR high? Keep the directories to minimum they are not as effective as they used to be. Do you have a blog? Having a blog will bring you tons of traffic but it needs to be updated regular with high quality post. Also try posting articles in ezine-artile. And find the type of keywords in a blog and drive traffic that way, Also what are your goals? how much unique visitors do you receive now? and how much you want to receive?

Strangely, having made this one posting as a thread starter, the OP doesn't seem to have been active on the forum since then so they perhaps haven't even seen the suggestions made.
But just to correct a point, they did say that they were getting 30 links each day, not that they had 30 in total.

Traffic by itself doesn't mean much, you don't want just a bunch of people visiting your site doing nothing. What you want is targeted traffic. What kind of visitor are you looking for? Who are they? Where do they live? ... . Once that's clarified, there places like Facebook that will target those people. Facebook might not be the base place for your case.

There are several ways to increase traffic. If you need instant traffic you can select PPC. You can get referral traffic from blogs, article marketing, press release distribution and video promotion. But to obtain organic traffic it takes some time until your website achieves higher rank on Google. Use social media platforms to obtain more traffic.

This is something I don't understand. If I bookmark my own site I can see that I get a link. But how does that easily drive traffic to it? Who cares about my bookmarks, other than me?

Take advantage of social media networks. It is so easy to be visible within these networks and it is easy to find your target market.

Sorry but these kind of generic answers don't really help anyone.
