If you want to get a good PR on Google, link on relevant sites of yours. But this does not mean you will rank highly on SERPs as Google PR and SERPs are two different things in the SEO world.

For Better Page Rank Traffic on Site is Necessary and for better Traffic Some SEO Activity is needed, So that we can easily get Traffic. And Now a Days use of Social Media Site is Popular activity as it contain Some high Page Ranked Sites like Facebook, Twitter, Stumble Upon.

Hello Michael,
How does traffic affect pagerank?
As far as i understand, Pagerank is all about link juice, I don't see any relation between pagerank and traffic. Please clarify!

But as per my Concern Website traffic affects Page Rank, if Your Site traffic is high then it means that Number of visitors is high to your site, and if your Site have Good numbers of Visitors then your Site Popularity will be high and ultimately Your Page Rank will be Higher.
Page Rank decided by Google Algorithm but Website traffic matters.

Sorry to say Michael but i am completely disagree with you. I believe pagerank doesn't effect website traffic and vice versa. As far as i understand pagerank is just about link juice, It doesn't have any effect on search engine ranking and website traffic. I can name here 100s of site which are having millions of visitors every day but there pagerank is very poor and also i can name here tonnes of sites which are having high pagerank but no traffic

To get PR on a website, the site needs high PR dofollow backlinks. Dofollow links pass PR juice to the site it is linking to.
