Default Impact of a blog in Google

I was testing some blogs on my main site. It was curious that the text on the blog was a cut and paste from some pages that I have published in my forum (It's a PHPBB forum) and it was spidered in Google in a couple of days. That same content is on other HTML files on my site and it was returned on the same results?

Why is that Google tends to spider blogs and not that same content on my HTML files?

I don't know if I understand exactly what you are asking, but if you have the same exact content on blog pages and on HTML pages (or multiple pages of any type on your site), Google is going to choose which of those pages they are going to index for that content unless you tell them your preference.
