    I have to agree with ^ that both are important but you know, most SEO and webmasters nowadays seem to focus more on links than content. They keep on asking after a whole bunch of link builds they don't get that much sale and comment that SEO is not effective when the truth is they are the ones not EFFECTIVE./

    Build links to get your site see, create content to get your visitors BUY.

    I tend to agree with Agent Campus. Links are great, but your content is what gets your message across. There's no use in directing people to a bad site.
