    Best way is to add google webmaster tools and submit an XML sitemap. You will get crawled in minutes. Also socially bookmark your site.

    Since your site hasn't changed in ages Google will have the lowest crawl rate on your site possible. The more regular (also dependant on popularity via inbound links) a site is updated the more often Google will scan through it.

    So to speed up the reindex time throw your link out there!
