So how well do you know what is being said about you over the internet?

Today more than ever before it’s important to stay on top of what is being said about you and your business. It has become so amazingly easy to have your reputation and years of dedication in your community tainted by friend tagging you in a not so appropriate picture, or a client posting a not so favorable review or a re-tweet of something a well intending employee put out there.

Social networking is a fantastic way of broadcasting you and your company, connecting with friends, family and clients and building your business through relationships, but if not managed with care and respect, can lead to no so wonderful results and in some cases even devastating ones.

A few ways to start are by;

1. Sign up to manage what is being said about you and your company with Google Alerts at
Google.com/alerts (it’s free!)

2. Sign up to track and manage what is being tweeted about you and your company at socialoomph.com (it’s free too!)
