Default Google Bypasses Wordpress Seo Plugins?

I realize it is about wordpress, but this primarily concerns the way google reads informations.I just bought a brand new domain and set up a wordpress blog.
It took about two days to get on google search and showed up today.
However it isn't using my wordpress plugin description/title on the results.
Not that it matters as the site is first result. But is there an explanation? Are the seo plugins pointless?

I had the same issue and I had to go to each page in the back end and place the information there in the SEO all in one section. If I filled in the information in the back end where the plug in is at none of it showed up on Google. It is a pain. Not sure why as I have never had to act like that before.

    Default Activate Title Rewrite Rules

What SEO plugin are you using?

There should be an option within the plugin page that lets you "rewrite title".

This gives the plugin authority to overwrite the default titles that come with your WordPress installation.

If it is not Google, then probably the plug-ins that you are using are the ones that are not actually working.
