That will be effective..It will not be a duplicate content especially if that article is on your blog or site..

I heard that it is not treated as white hat SEO. To optimize website and get good traffic I was suggested to continue with white hat SEO. This is good update to me.

It's important to have completely unique content on your own website at the least. That way you never run the risk of having duplicate content on your main site. Using spun articles will be effective for backlinks either way. However, sometimes the search engines will recognize them as duplicate content if you do not take enough time to make them unique. The better you spin, the better results you'll have. These work great for directories that automatically upload documents to their site instead of having to go through manual approval like ezinearticles. If they find your article to resemble another they will reject it. Also, this must be your own content you are spinning and not somebody else's.

I think these are not very much effective. I use it many times, but not get any good response.
