    Default Google updated search engine

They are always making changes but this one could be pretty big because most real estate sites embed a portion of the MLS into thier site.

What essentially changed is that google looks for skimmed content. I dont know how they can determine if this is different than duplicate content but since we dont have access to thier algorithm we cant say for sure how they are doing it or tell the difference.

If it believes your skimming content it will try and determine which site had the information first and the other site it believes is skimming content will be negatively impacted.

This is great if you have a ton of original content and others have been ripping your content and placing on thier site. And because they are better at SEO than you they would reap all the traffic rewards and you get little to no traffic for your work. This is great but its possible if you have embedded content which is pulled from another location like a ton of other people the search engines could down rank your site content.

This is going to be interesting and were already seeing some effects of the change. Luckily were on the positive side of things. Just a heads up if you notice your traffic changed recently and you get your content from alternate sources.

I think Google is using indexing like semantic. Like what's Bing is using.

Yes, Google update the Panda & now Google can know very easily who is using duplicate content or black hat method. This is the reason that many of the sites are drop in ranking.
