Its a saturated market expect to be around for a long time or to spend a ton of money if you want instant success. Or from an SEO point of view its a keyword and search term saturated market the person with the most original content wins hopefully.

It is possible to get top ranking in specific areas and expand from there.

Learn SEO or good web design and development. Create original and usefull content so search engines are happy and others reference and e-mail your site. Dont cheat unless you can afford to be delisted and start over. Dont be swayed by shortcuts and quick link generation. Original Content, Original Content, and more original content. Dont copy others content you will be short lived.

Word of mouth, original content, do something to get people interested in your site and coming back and referering your site.

I'm always leary of businesses promising "instant" search engine results. I've found that the best results come from a dedicated and continued approach to SEO.

Write great content for your site, post on other related blogs linking to your site (dofollow blogs), write guest pieces for other blogs, and cultivate qualified backlinks. It doesn't happen over night, but it does work if you keep at it.

    Hope this helps.

I think writing an edgy classified ads would help you out. Also try promoting your website through article and blog writing

i agree. no such thing and "instant" in this game. it takes time. usually 4-6 months to really start making waves in your specific keyword phrase. stay consistent and all will be well

SEO in general takes time so don't expect the world at first ,personally if I weren't an SEO or have an SEO working for me I would heavily look into one. You might get lucky and find someone whoi s willing to work with a smaller budget and take on smaller projects.

Create article that are related to your site and post them on different article directories or web 2.0 site. Make sure to have your link in the article. Comment on related blog with your link pointing to your site. Just be sure to post only quality comment.

From everything I am seeing, article writing (original content) is the way to go. Make sure you check which keywords you want to be optimized for before you begin writing! Seomoz also has some great stuff to check out for links

You can promote it like any other website. You can just use the same techniques.
