Most search engines like to discover sites over being told about a new site.

The quickest way is to send an e-mail to everyone you know on G-Mail and link to your website. Google looks at links in e-mail.

Second is to get your link posted on a news or very active forum.

As long as your site does not offend the search engines and is allowed to be indexed it will show up within a week.

You just needs lots of links to your website. Articles, blogs, forums, etc is a good start and Google will start indexing your website.

Social bookmarking sites like Digg, stumbleupon submission is good to get quick index.

Get links from established websites that are related to your site. This will index your site faster by Google. Join also on social sites like Digg and Squidoo.

You could also go an write 5 articles for whatever keyword you choose, go to Ezine Articles and submit them (after you have joined of course). Then once the articles are approved you will more than likely be indexed. There is even a faster way but I probably should make that another thread.

Hope this helps a little. Oh yes, Squidoo is a great place or hubpages or scribd....there are a ton of things you can do.

Ya, the easiest way to get indexed by google is to get linking coming into your site and therefore will make an indication to google that your site is becoming important and thus should be indexed.

The easiest way to get indexed is to get back link from any regularly crawled site, or you can also submit your site map to google webmaster tool.

What work for me was writing two articles and submitting them to two different article directory websites. I think works better than submitting directly to google.
