This part in the article made me laugh:

"Buying PageRank-passing links or randomly exchanging links are the worst ways of attempting to gather links and they're likely to have no positive impact on your site's performance over time."

Not true, if you do it correctly

    Cool

What do you think about google alert? It is a good way to build quality backlinks because all links will be related to your site when you enter the keywords; and google will find related websites for you.

I have a new dilemma, I'm doing all the SEO i can do for this real estate website, but the thing is even if i deliver quality traffic customers just won't buy the products because competitors offer a lot more than they can offer. So how can we solve that if the company does not want to enhance their product. What i'm trying to say is even though you are an outstanding SEO somehow there is always a factor that would help you get the achievement that you are looking for.

I think the best way to build links for real estate sites is find relevant partners.. there are several "home" based sites that aren't direct competitors.. work with them!
