Adding Images to Your Sitemap

Sitemaps has truly been a basic SEO step for many large or even medium sized web sites. Google Image search has been a strong driver of traffic to many sites, but sometimes it is hard for webmasters to get their images indexed. Google announced support for images in Sitemaps.

Thanks for that information, I certainly will look into this feature. I hope it will help me improving my SERPS in th google image search.

This is good SEO information that I was not aware of. I like the idea of adding images to the site-map so they are included in the crawl, in case they would be missed otherwise... Thanks for the tips.
