Default Google stopped censoring Internet search results in China

    Hi Friends,

Google now has stopped censoring internet search results for chinese users by redirecting them from Google.cn to uncensored Google website in Hong Kong. This move left chinese authorities red faced. Google also planning to leave china by April 10.

    Comment on it...

It won't bring good to anyone - for both China and Google. China is going to lose the best source of information, and Google will lose the market share.

Yeah I heard this one yesterday. I am quite sad for China but I guess Google has a right to do such things. I thought there is still chance for them to reconcile.

I heard that google was the #3 search provider in China on a news report last night. Huge market for sure, but I find it hard to believe that google was ranked that low in China.

GoDaddy also pulled out of China because they were asking them to release client information to the government. Will be interesting to see how it all turns out.

Sooner or later Google will realize that leaving China will not be advantage for them in the future. China in the end will have limited access to open source and they will continue doing clone product and software.

I think it's not lost for Google to left China. But I just hope that they still have chance to reconcile.

Google in working very fast on china page. A week back they had redirected the google page at chine to Google.com.hk, it is wonder to see that redirection. Will they continue their service at china under this page?
