Thread: Google Buzz

A good tool. If you like communications then it's ideal for you. It offers some good options to chat.

Initially I thought about trying it, but with blogs, forums, and social media (not to mention working on contracts/deals/listings), I am spreading myself too thin. What features about google buzz do you enjoy most and not found in the other social media outlets?

Google Buzz is a social networking and messaging tool from Google, designed to integrate into the company's web-based email program, Gmail. Users can share links, photos, videos, status messages and comments organized in "conversations" and visible in the user's inbox.
Buzz enables users to choose to share publicly with the world or privately to a group of friends each time they post. Picasa, Flickr, Google Reader, YouTube, Blogger, FriendFeed, identi.ca and Twitter are currently integrated.

Almost like twitter. We are loving it but building a list is quite difficult.

I think google has the right idea but I am afraid they might be too late. Twitter already has that market, so why would those people have any reason to use buzz as well?

I have the feeling G is going to refine Buzz and make it better with time. They don't release anything to the public to let it fail and be eaten by competition.

That is true, Google doesn't typically release something without plans of dominating it. However, just because they want to enter a market at succeed doesn't mean it will catch on. I am sure they have released new things in the past through google labs that didn't fair very well and were discontinued. I just am not aware of anything specific.

I am still kind of new to the buzz,haven't tried it much.Is it better than the
twitter?How can we expand the network in buzz,or the followers?

Goggle buzz is a messaging tool from google . user can share links, photos , videos messages , and conversation.
