Have you noticed the recent PR update? I have seen changes on my website. Its page rank went up to PR2.

    How about yours?

I've been working on my website for 3 months now and I was pretty excited I got a page rank of 2. Then I noticed another REALTOR in my market just started a website, hasn't done any SEO and already has a page rank of 2. Hopefully page rank doesn't mean much like they say. It's a little discouraging.

That could be happen, maybe some sites give that site a quality backlinks and a big traffic, and other factor is because or their content. Many believes that PR represents how quality you site is.

Hmmm, mine went down from 3/10 to 1/10 over the past month or so. I'm still posting links and blog articles....not sure what changed. Hopefully in a couple months it'll go back up.

They may not have appeared to have done much SEO but your page rank is defiantly impacted by external links.

Have you researched how many sites are linking to your competitor verses your self?

Don't focus to much on PR. Just keep adding quality content and work on your quality backlinks. Everything else will fall into place.
