What Google Knows About You
I found this article and I want to hear your reactions.
"[Google] is expecting consumers to trust it with the closest thing to a printout of their brain that has ever existed." -Kevin Bankston, senior staff attorney, EFF

Kind of scary to think about what Google knows. Hopefully they put all of that to good use, which I think they would because they have a lot to lose if the public distrust them.

It's easy for people to say Google knows a lot about us but it's not the case. We have a thin layer of information about what you're searching for.

The only part that really scares me is the facial recognition software now in facebook and image apps with the combination of google satellites. They could be watching you anywhere/anytime
. From what I have read about those face recognizing progams is once someone tells it who you are in the photo it will always know who you are. So you would think google satellites would have no problem discerning between people.

I know google saves IP addresses and such but I don't think they are allowed to save your credit card info, bank statements, etc. because its against the law.

I wouldn't be scared of Google over that. They're just trying to bring to relevant results. That's what makes them the best.
What I would really be scared of is Google securing an Internet monopoly. Not only do they have the search engine market cornered, but they're also moving into browsers, e-mail, ect.

"G" is great all knows. interlinking can easily caught by google so different server, different IP or different Registered name doesn't work. Try three way linking it been surely useful.
