Default How Google View Links between blog and website ??

Does Google take a negative view of links between your blog (and outside blog) and your primary website? Does G view this as link farming in any way? These would be links that are text links.

I have been doing SEO for a few years now and one thing I can say is SEO can be a real sensitive subject and can lead to major consequences, like getting your website banned from the search engine result pages (SERPs). That being said, you better be careful who you hire to do your SEO work. Before hiring anyone, make sure you ask them what kinds of link building tactics do they use. Are they white-hat, grey-hat or black-hat? If you don't know the difference, then I would suggest taking some time to vaguely learn about these different link building categories, as it can lead to a lot of wasted money and negative results.

If you have links from your website to your blog and vice-versa, that shouldn't be a problem. Actually, having inbound links is encouraged when doing onsite SEO. Just don't abuse it. Dealing with stuff like link farms is a big no no (unless you want to either get heavily penalized or banned from the SERPs).

Just think of it this way: if you think a link would benefit a user, then add the link. If you think the link is not relevant or doesn't make sense to put on a page, leave it out. Again, it's always better to be conservative, but inbound links are encouraged.

First of all a link farm site is a site that has no content except for links.
A link farm site is nothing more than a collection of link. participating in such site could actually lead to penalties. A link in your site that links to another page within the same site is called internal linking. You could do this but dont overdo it. I suggest not to do outbound links for it will be the exit page of visitors in your site.

Should be no problem in my opinion. You said an 'outside blog', right? Meaning you run both a website and then a separate blog? If so, then not only should you be OK, but it should be a good thing. Like someone said, don't overdo it. In my opinion, it's more of a question of wasting your time than getting into trouble. Your first link from a site is the most 'potent'. After that, the value diminishes with each new link. Plus, unless you're planning on really mass producing the links, I think you'll be fine.

On the other hand link farm is a form of spamming the index of a search engine. So don't try it. Google can penalize you for this.
I totally agree with this, Google have certain limits optimize your web site within that limit otherwise it will under black hat.

Default Blog links to Web Site

When I write a blog post, I will often times hot link back to our main site to a page that I think will add value to the viewer. It's really a shame that cutting edge SEO and quality content are not necessarily congruent.

    Exclamation Seo

Just be careful as no one can guarantee you top 10 placement on any search engine and if they promise that they can then take your money and run. Getting your website optimized is great and it certainly helps. Use relevant keywords and link your sites to professional websites who won't get you and them both banned.
