Default 2 Improvements in Google SERP

Google has made two improvements to enhance results on a query made by a visitor. this will enable the visitor more related websites and more information about the sites listed in the results pages... my question will be where will Google get the summary that they will be using for the description on SERP? should we add more description or words in the description tag of our websites?

    Check out the info here:

I also heard that in the near future they may look at bounce rates. Which sucks because mine is so high. I had to redo the way my post were display so that it would take a few extra clicks to get more contents from my site.

Bounce rates are way too easy to fake. I personally just don't see it playing a role with the current systems that are available.

It is good to hear about bounce rate but even I don't think it is really somthing useful.

Bouce rates on the level of millions of users could be very useful to the search engines as a component of the algo. I think it is actually less easy to manipulate without looking unnatural than link building. I doubt it will be the major deciding factor in the algo though.

It'd be very easy to manipulate. Most sites (particularly real estate ones at the local level) don't generate "millions" of users - unless you are looking over years of time.

You'd see new start up businesses with persons setting up entire banks of computers with rotating IP addresses and proxies - offering to "sell" a good bounce rate for you, or a "bad" bounce rate for your competitors.

It would be not be entirely dissimilar to how spammers send out spam email.

Yeah seo keeps getting more complicated I think bounce rate may already been in effect. For example if users click the back button really fast google may think your site is not relevant to what the user was looking for or is too spammy.

You have to do so many different thigns-start with onpage optimisation-place your keywords on your site content and meta tags, then start massive link building.

As the google algo gets more sophisticated, I think it will factor in things like visitor numbers to a site, bounce rate, time spent on site, etc (if it is not doing so already)
Google wants to rank relevant sites highly and what could be more relevant than a site that gets loads of traffic and on which people spend a long time. It's a catch-22 situation, in that the higher you rank, the more traffic you get...and the more traffic you get, the better Google values you. But hey, I'm not Matt Cutts.
