Default Why is my blog post not being indexed?

    Question -

I posted three relatively short blog posts on my wordpress blog.

2 of them are indexed fine.. I can put the title in google and find it on the first page. 3rd (actually second post) is nowhere to be found in google even though it was posted before the third post.

    Can someone help me out?

    http://www.augustarealestateinvesting.com/blog/?p=9

Here is the post titled "Downtown Augusta Real Estate"

the other two.. "Bargain Augusta Real Estate" and "Flip-Your-House" indexed in google just fine.

    THANKS for any help!

Looks like it is being indexed now?

Seems weird it took a lot longer than the most recent post

You should give it a little time, google may have only visited a few links on your site during a visit, because its still relatively new and not worth indexing the entire site yet. Give it some time when things like this happen.

I think the page you are talking about is already indexed in Google, just copy paste your blog post URL in Google and you will find your page indexed.

You should not worry about things like this, it takes time for a site to get indexed. I see yours is already indexed.

It really comes down to how often a spider crawls your site. To think that every post you write will be immediately indexed in Google is not very logical. When it came to your first two posts, chances are the spiders got to them faster than your third post. All in all, it really shouldn't be anything for you to worry about. WordPress blogs are notorious for attracting search engine spiders, so chances are all your posts will be indexed. It just comes down to if the indexing comes sooner or later.

I understand that.. My point was that my First post and third post were indexed, but not my second.

All good now though.. All three are indexed.

Get a few social bookmarks to kick start the process - such as mixx.com and propeller.com

Yeah.. I ended up getting a lot of spam comments, but I got a plug-in that helped with that.
