Arrow If you got a new site and want Google's attention

If I learned one thing in the past many years about google ranking and search engine optimization is; that DO NOT submit your new domain/URL to google.

Find a relevant site that is already indexed by google and get ONE link to your site using your keywords of choice.

This way Google will find the link and crawl your site automatically and will index your page with higher regards...

Give Google about two weeks time to index your site. Remember that the site you are linking from has to be local. What i mean by local is, if your site operates in the UK, get a link from a uk based site with .co.uk TLD

In a couple of weeks time go to Google and perform a search for your site, our domain name and/or the keywords you used; you will be surprised by the results. Your site with low or no Google page rank will perform really well.

You simply can not buy this type of SEO, it comes to me after few years working with Google as a SEO.

If you tried this and worked for you, please come back and let us know...

I agree that if we link to a website local to our website then it would help our website get better ranking in google but What is most important is relevancy and quality of the contents on our website. If it is not good then google is going to leave your website last in the queue

The best thing to do is create a lot of quality content right off the bat and optimize your site perfectly. I would start building links too, but not too many at once, as this will be a red flag in Google's eyes.

I totally agree with you. The thing needed for getting the high ranking in SE is the quality as well as unique content and the relevancy for your site.

I'm not sure I agree with just getting one link. Seems like the more word you are able to spread about the new site the better. Hopefully a site will start picking up some longtails and then you can build on that.

Sure, get links but more than one. Find business directories, blogs and forums.

Don't spam with a bunch of unrelated links and do your link building over time. Too many links all at once may hurt your website rankings.

Also, try Google Webmaster Tools if you would like to see how the Google indexers view your site.

If you ask me I doubt that they even use that anymore, because if they were then you can only imagine the number of spam they getting from that feature alone.

They are probably relying on the backlink count and quality to detect new sites.
