Pay Per click (PPC) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) are two of the main techniques to generate visits on your website.
Pay Per Click (PPC) is the approach where you bid for the position in search results which are sponsored.

Awesome right up Jenie! When I first started PPC I got hammered by click fraud from competitors......I even caught someone I worked with in my office in on it! I got tired of filing Click Fraud reports with google. I learned Organic SEO and quadrupled my unique hits over the next year. SEO is a beautiful thing!

Surely, PPC and SEO are two main techniques - PPC stands for Pay Per Click is the good way for internet advertising by paying some amount for the ads from the advertisers, whenever their ads are clicked by someone. On other hand, Organic SEO is the way where you can optimize webpages by increasing the link populairty to your site with the targeted keywords.

PPC and SEO are both good techniques to generate traffic in a website that convert as potential client of one's business.

SEO is good and practically long term solution, and hence it takes a longer time to achieve some noticeable results. PPC is quite the opposite, it gives you fast results but when program stops results are fading away also. But My opinion is that advertising is a must in serious web business, why? When you advertise people visit your site, if they are interested they will bookmark it, and share it on other sites, when they share you get new visitirs and traffic + new organic one way links. Search engines notice that and voila! Simple as that.

these are great tips. I like to go with seo work because it does not cost anything if you know how to do it..I do my own seo work which pays off.

SEO is so much cheaper in the long run. Definitely get your company listed in Google Local Search and you will get some free traffic from that.

I still use PPC and PPV traffic for sure and can dominate a page on google with multiple listings.

I use PPC to test with and shape my SEO efforts. I could not repeat my past successes without one or the other. PPC is a huge time-saver for SEO efforts, and SEO is a great long-term, low-cost (once it's up and running) cash cow. I don't think I could sit and debate this because it's almost like saying, "What's more important: Money today, or money tomorrow?"

PPC is very expensive way to get traffic IMHO although it does bring you traffic if you can afford and convert it!

Yes, PPC is quite expensive and your budget might be wasted if you don't know how to run it properly. So it is better to choose for the right keywords to give you some leads and become successful in utilizing this form of internet marketing
