it's not a big deal if you have good content on your site. My clik out rate is about 1 per 50 visitors, which by the way pays for my monthly hosting expense, plus some more.

    Default hi

I was recently faced with this dilemma, should I place adsense or not. Since I am not longer in the business and only promoting my sites for "fun", i figured what the heck. And within 2 days I had already made 4 bucks. not much, but at least it will help pay for the domain and hosting fees.

the person that made the state about a lead is only mere cents with ad sense is true. These leads are much more valuable.

I agree that it's not a great idea to place Adsense on your site if you are trying to convert your visitors to your own products and services. I think you are better off putting the ads on a separate subdomain or site altogether. I think it's unprofessional when I see agents with Adsense all over their page.

I believe in diversity. I have quite a few ways to make money on my websites and I am a HUGE fan of Adsense. I make most of my money from Adsense.

yes, adsense links on your site might become your competitors. Visitors might click them thus leaving away on your site and not purchasing your services. So I think adsense code should only be placed on the blog and not on your site.

    Cool

Indeed, but you're in control of it's visibility. If your website is selling something. Though I think adsense is created for those informative websites and it will be just their reward for having a good job teaching people.
