Are Pay Per Clicks the same as....
Are Pay Per Clicks the same as AdSense?

Not exactly the same, but not entirely different either.
First of all Google adwords is what most refer to PPC. That is the set of ads that show up on the right hand side of the Google search results. Google adsense is the ability for other site owners to host Google ads on their personal websites that they then get a cut of the ad revenue when someone clicks on the ads hosted on their sites. As a Google advertiser their is no difference between adwords or adsense. Both are PPC for me if I choose to use Google's advertising products.

The adsense means that you get payment for CPM(cost per impression), CPC and for CPA and in CPC you will not get any payment other than CPC.
