I like this quote. This not only applies to this forum, but it SHOULD apply in life. Understanding how rare that is for people to think of giving before you get is what attracted me to this post.

    Good job!

    Default Spam on the forums

So far I've noticed that the spam comments from semi-literate paid posters vastly out-number genuine posts.

I'd prefer to see a 200-post barrier to having a signature line or pming if it just kept those guys out.

And I'd like a "report" function so that authors of these junk "comments" can be quickly identified and deleted.

I disagree, It's the 15 posts that keep out all the junk and spammers. If the rules are not in place then the good posters would definitely leave and the mods would spend all their time deleting worthless posts.

I totally understand how the owner of the site must feel. I started a real estate forum too and it got spammed so much, I eventually decided to shut it down. It was so high maintenance. Kudos to the owner for being able to keep up with it all.

Default This guy never made it to 15?

He only made it to 12? Never the less, this is a great post, look how many views it has already! I think the 15 post rule is good. I post at another forum and their rule is 30. So, 15 is more than fair.

This rule is better for everyone.Because Spammers are now a days very active. They always try to post signature at first post.
